First Week

Excited for the semester. A bit afraid of the work load. But I think that I'm going to learn loads. =)

House Painting Project

I decided that I want to so some kind of mural in my room. Now, guess it's time to figure out what I want. I just can't help but think that it would be a lot easier to paint if there wasn't the stucco texture all over my walls (texture I didn't want but my parents were adamant on putting throughout the house). I am the worst when it comes to thinking about something for myself. Haha.

Also, I decided I want to do a little painting in our kitchen. I think it would be cute to do little kitchen/cooking appliances and utensils border thing around the kitchen. =) Once I figure out the utensils, I'm going to do it.... I mean, I think I got an "ok" from my mom. Haha.

Who knows when I'll get to these though.

Another busy semester coming up.

Disappointed. I hate registering for classes. Something always goes wrong. This time, it turns out that I couldn't register for Special Studies in Graphic Design because apparently, it's required to take ALL the prerequisites to be able to even register for the class. Great. And I have to take that class twice in different semesters. So it looks like my graduating plans will be held back another semester. Dad's not gonna be happy about that =/

I went to the website to check out the progress of the competition. I guess they're done with pre-selection! I'm a little anxious and nervous. The 210 winning posters "will travel for 365 days, spreading a good message throughout the world."

On another note, Good50x70 has been acknowledged by the President of the Italian Republic! =) Congrats

Some Previous School Work

Went through some of my old school work files quickly and picked out some pieces to display here (click images for bigger size):

Poster Final:
History of Graphic Design - Fall 2009
Created this poster with Danielle. This design was inspired from Robert Brownjohn's original 007 credit sequence. The credits were projected onto my brother's car.

Bauhaus Quote Typography:
Lettering and Typography A - Spring 2008

Futura Font Designs:
Lettering and Typography B - Fall 2009
3 of 10 designs we had to do. Basically, we had to follow a few different sets of parameters for each design.

Rand Book Jackets:
Graphic Design A - Spring 2010
Design a book jacket for an artist's (auto)biography that reflects him/her. Note that the first picture shows a more accurate color of the green book jacket.

BP Now on WordPress and Blogger

Just been working for the last hour on transferring content from Bunnie Productions from Yola to WordPress. Still need to add in the old updates to the Blogger site but other than that, I would say that move was pretty successful... at least to have some content and all. Definately will be adding new content soon. Definitely need the update. It's just been inconvenient for me because I have stored all my work on my external and keep forgetting about it.

I know, I should probably buy a domain and get working on a website like I've been planning... but for the mean time, I'm just too broke. I'll most likely get one in the fall though. I guess this is good for now.

Right now, I'm still trying to decide if I want to stick with "Bunnie Productions" or switch it to a more traditional name like "A.Sun Designs" or something.

Working on a Project

Gosh it feels good to be doing a project again. The last month and a half have been really unproductive. Feels good to be usin' the old noggin again. =)

Man. It's already July!!

Painting.

Painted this a couple weeks ago. I want to paint a portrait but I just don't have the patience for it. But this was fun. Just smearing paint on a blank canvas. It's kinda relaxing. Reminds me of a jungle.

This Last Week...

Went to the Getty Villa. And did a photo shoot with Alex, Anna, and Stephanie. Click on images to go to my Flickr account.

That's it. I sort of broke my laptop. The key are a little messed up so it's a bit hard to type.

Lazy Summer.

Gosh I feel lazy. It's been about a month since I've been out of school and I haven't done any of my projects that I've wanted to do. I have a few t-shirt designs I want to get out from some sketching I did. And I did an abstract painting. That's pretty much the extent of it though =/ I haven't even done that much photography. LOL. I've done some though. For the latest, check out my Flickr account. I still have some more photos to edit and upload. Here is one of my favorite pics from Orlando, Florida.

This is from Lake Osceola. We took a boat cruise and I was just snapping away on my camera, trying to capture all the beautiful nature and houses on film. I'm not too thrilled with the editing I did on the photo with the colors. But I the colors didn't really turn out the way I wanted it to. I still have a lot to refine in my photography.

It doesn't really help that I've been entertaining my cousin too. She's here until the end of the month. All we've been doing is going to random places (LA, movies, City Walk, etc.) and playing Starcraft.

Ok... now I'm off to the pool to work on my burn tan and have some fun in the sun. 8)
